When we take a moment to ourselves, we might realize that life gets busy, and often times messy and uncertain. Maybe when we tell ourselves that things will be fine, but it doesn't actually feel fine. Or we try to think through our problems hoping that something will be different. We hope that next week will be better and you find yourself pushing through again. You might carry it all, but maybe it doesn't have to be this hard.

 

Whatever it is that brings you to therapy, you deserve to build a version of you that feels authentic. A version of you that's more open, centered, and connected. So let's start where you can.

You may experience: 

  • uncertainty, worries, looping thoughts, and nothing really feels 'right'

  • sense of guilt, feel disconnected, and often resentful

  • a sense of urgency or that nothing is ever enough 

  • a significant loss or transition in your life that has shifted everything you know

  • intense or a mix of thoughts and emotions that are hard to manage

  • conflicted or reactive, and stuck in something that happened to you 

  • you have to avoid thinking about it or anything that reminds you of it

Meet Lisa Hua,
Registered Psychologist

My passion for therapy is the opportunity it allows us to redefine how we engage in our relationships and the world around us. I take the time to understand my clients and what might be hard to even put into words at times. I listen for how you came to be and where you want to go. 

 

In my practice, I believe in creating meaningful, heart-felt, lasting change. 

I have kept my practice small to focus on delivering services that are impactful to my clients. I am known to be a compassionate therapist with a direct communication style and my sessions flow with what you bring in as the most important.

Goes beyond just sitting and ranting. Meaningful change happens when we gain new perspectives, have more capacity, and discover new insights. You feel the different, not just know it.

I lay out what you can expect so there's no surprises of what we're doing and how we're doing it.
